About MUN•Rome

Experience the UN in the Eternal City

MUN • ROME is the yearly 4 day Model UN that Consules organizes in the heart of Rome.

The simulation of the main UN committees provides participants with a unique opportunity to deal first hand with major international issues and acquire a firm grasp of the rules and mechanisms of multilateral diplomacy.

Accommodations

The Best Western Premier hotels (4 star plus) are the Partner hotels for MUN•Rome. The partner hotels, which host the high school committees, are just one minute away from the venue of the university committees.
The cost of a single room is €108 per night. The cost for a double room is €68 per person, per night. Accommodation at partner hotels always includes breakfast.
Booking will be available starting November 18th 2019.

Cultural activities

Among the endless incredible cultural activities that Rome has to offer, we have selected the most interesting and iconic ones. Individually or with your delegation you will be able to take advantage of the cultural activities selected for the next conference edition.

Social events

Besides working sessions, we encourage participants to continue working and making friends in more informal environments where they can meet in the evenings after the conference is suspended for the day.

HIGH SCHOOL

Who can apply

MUN • Rome welcomes both universities and high schools. University and high school students will work in separate committees.
We welcome both individual students and delegations at university level.  Only delegations with a faculty can apply for high schools.
There is not a minimum or a maximum delegation size. On average, a delegation is between 8 and 24 students both at university and high school level.
